Hello All,
We have had a great third week of school. We have been succesfully rotating and getting into some curriculum. The students are really sinking into their schedule. I can't wait to start adding some exciting stuff!
We should be getting our permanent furniture in the next week or two along with our DI materials.
In the meantime, I see no reason why the students need to bring their backpacks to and from school other than to hold their lunches. We will be getting cubbies soon to hold their backpacks and other materials. Until then, they can keep them at home. Of course, please continue to bring lunches. Almost everyone has a pencil box with writing materials in it and that is exactly what we want.
Village experts went fabulously well with emerging arts and drama kids.
We have a nice schedule of volunteers, however, I am looking for someone to come in on Tuesday mornings from 8 to 12 noon. Any takers? I am also looking for a room parent to help organize phone trees, meetings, field trips, volunteers, etc.
